Pathfinders ProjectOver at Huffington Post, read about two new humanist service programs, Pathfinders Project and the Humanist Community at Harvard’s Values in Action.

Pathfinders Project, a year-long humanist service trip sponsored by Foundation Beyond Belief, will travel around the world to build sustainably, educate, and develop clean water projects. Pathfinders Project is accepting applications until February 1, 2013.

HCH’s Values in Action members participate in highly successful interfaith service projects. They received a small grant from FBB last year to support their food-packing event, preparing thousands of meals for food-insecure families.

Chris Stedman and Conor Robinson are working to “use service projects as an embodiment of humanist values and a foundation for dialogue across religious, cultural, linguistic, and ethnic boundaries.” Read more about it here.
