FBB on the Road

If you’ve been looking for a chance to meet our staff, this weekend will offer two great opportunities to do so! No matter where you are in the contiguous United States, you can be guaranteed to be no more than 1,500 miles from an FBB event. What a good deal.

If you’re going to be out west between July 11 and 14, come to The Amazing Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada! Sponsored by the James Randi Educational Foundation, TAM will feature a keynote speech by Susan Jacoby as well as a variety of other speakers and panels geared toward the skeptic community. Sam Shore(FBB’s Light The Night team coordinator), Ellen Andrews (our summer membership intern), and Conor Robinson (director of the Pathfinders Project) will be chatting with attendees and answering questions at the FBB table, so be sure to stop by and say hi.

If a trip to the desert isn’t in your near future, you’re in luck! The Secular Student Alliance conference in Columbus, Ohio, July 12-14, will feature a number of past and current FBB interns and staff giving talks, including AJ Chalom (FBB’s humanist giving coordinator), Daniel Hay (our summer Beyond Belief Network intern), Hemant Mehta (FBB board president), andJerry DeWitt (FBB board member). Don’t forget to visit our table and say hello to our staff!

Don’t let us be lonely. Hope to see you there!
