Disaster Kit (Family of 4)*
Your donation will be used by Disaster Resilience Project teams to buy FEMA-recommended essentials to distribute to vulnerable people ahead of a hurricane. (And you'll get the "I Support Local, Shared Power" sticker as our thanks to you.)
Disaster Resilience Project
Our Disaster Resilience Project teams are comprised of local volunteers who have organized to make their communities more resilient to disaster. GO Humanity has supported teams in climate catastrophe-prone areas like Florida, Haiti, Puerto Rico, and Texas, and in communities made of vulnerable people such as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and women. This item will be purchased for a team to distribute it to people they identify as needing it the most.
Kits will be distributed by the following volunteer teams:
- Blue Trunk Garden Network – St. Cloud, Florida
- Central Florida Mutual Aid – Winter Park, Florida
- Humanists of Tallahassee – Tallahassee, Florida
- Neighborhood Fridge – Orlando, Florida
- CORMII Community Development Corporation – Reidsville, North Carolina
