James Croft to speak in Springfield, MO

If you are in the Springfield, MO area this weekend you are in luck!

James Croft, Keynote Speaker for Greater Ozarks Pridefest, will be speaking at a post-Pride event hosted by the Springfield Skeptics on Sunday, June 21 at Living Memorial Park in Springfield. James is a graduate of the Universities of Cambridge and Harvard, and is currently finishing his Doctorate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He works as leader-in-training at the Ethical Society of St. Louis (part of a national movement of Humanist congregations). James was raised on Shakespeare, Sagan and Star Trek, and is a proud, gay Humanist. His upcoming book "The Godless Congregation", co-authored with New York Times bestselling author Greg Epstein, is being published by Simon & Schuster.

Refreshments will be served at the South Pavilion beginning at 11:30 and James will give his speech, entitled "One Springfield, Indivisible," at the amphitheater at noon. While visitors are able to sit at the amphitheater, lawn chairs are recommended.
