Pictures of the Month

Due to a technical issue, we were unable to post the September Picture of the Month to our blog last month. Instead, we have included it here with the October winner. Thanks to both of these teams for their great work and wonderful photos! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Springfield Skeptics and Humanists of Houston! Respectively, these teams submitted our September and October Pictures of the Month.

Springfield Skeptics is a Level 2 team from Springfield, MO. In September, team members volunteered with Ozarks Food Harvest. They packaged over 8,000 pounds of food, which were turned into over 6,000 meals for their city’s neediest residents.

Humanists of Houston is a Level 1 team based in Houston, TX. Earlier this month, the team held a book drive for Books Between Kids, a non-profit organization founded in 2012 to serve Houston’s at-risk children by providing them with books to build their own home libraries. The team collected over 550 books and spent an afternoon at the organization’s warehouse sorting the donations.
