Foundation Beyond Belief is excited to open nominations for Most Valuable Volunteer and Article of the Year. Most Valuable Volunteer recognizes an individual who has made extraordinary contributions to compassionate humanism and service to their Beyond Belief Network team in 2014. Article of the Year demonstrates an exceptional example of a team’s media coverage. Please submit your nominations by Friday, April 24.

These awards will be presented at the 3rd Annual Heart of Humanism Awards Dinner on Saturday July 25 at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.

For Most Valuable Volunteer, submit the name and a description of your best volunteer from 2014. Paid staff members are ineligible for this award. We are interested in hearing about their level of involvement with events, time spent assisting, etc. Please limit your description to involvement with community service and fundraising to benefit other organizations. Services performed for your group specifically (i.e., fundraising for your group, organizing your newsletter, office duties, etc.) will not be considered. Have someone in mind? Nominate them through our online form. Volunteer coordinators may nominate themselves, and are welcome to share the form with other organization leaders.

For Article of the Year 2014, submit through our online form an example of a piece about your BBN team. This could be press coverage of your organization, or an article written by a member/volunteer about your work. Videos may also be considered, and you may submit multiple pieces for consideration.
