Edible vegetables gardens at Kasese Humanist School

The activity began with preparing the gardens for the cultivation of green vegetables. We created several nursery beds for cabbages, eggplants and garden eggs for the start of the project. After three weeks we transplanted the seedlings to our prepared gardens around our Rukoki campus. The gardens are thriving and we are happy about it. Our team members are providing the labour and the project funds are helping us with procuring farm inputs like hoes, pangas, watering cans, overalls, a pesticide sprayer machine and providing labor tokens to our team workers to ensure the gardens are in shape.
