Atheists United Adopt a Highway

Litter Pickup on the 2 Freeway. ww.AtheistsUnited.org supports the community by sponsoring the highway cleanup of the Glendale (2) freeway. Please help keep Los Angeles clean and join us in the cleanup effort! What to wear: Close-toed shoes, long pants, sunscreen or long sleeve shirt. Dress in layers because it can start out cold and warm up later in the morning. We'll provide bags, gloves and grabbers so you won't have to bend over to pick up trash. We are practicing COVID protocol so bring a mask. We also have disposable masks if you need one. Minimum age to participate is 16. Lunch or Refreshments: We'll pick a place for refreshments after the cleanup How long: The highway clean up will take about 2 hours; plus optional get-together for refreshments afterwards.
