Baking for Love – A Livelihood Project

Silong Tanglaw Foundation, Quezon City adopted shelter for boys by HAPI with a total of 20 young adult boys. 1. Baking - Getting the boys of Silong Tanglaw involved in baking and cooking gives them the opportunity to contribute to the community. It teaches them about giving back as well as learning the work involved in producing the delicious pastries. They’ll learn to appreciate people around them and acts of kindness and begin to recognize themselves as a part of a community that works together. 2. Livelihood Project – The “Baking for Love: A Livelihood Project” is an income generating program that will help our boys develop their baking skills in this and help them earn some income for their daily needs. 3. Skills and team work – This will help them hone their skills when it comes to baking and improve their communication skills.
