Center for Enriched Living “Pan”Pals

Recently NCHC wrapped up a card writing event for residents at Center for Enriched Living in Illinois. Their mission statement is "The Center for Enriched Living Exists so that people with developmental disabilities can be fully included in the community, achieve personal success, and enjoy a good quality of life". Due to the pandemic, CEL members have had reduced contact with family. As such CEL reached out asking for people to write them cards letting them know people are thinking of them. We enjoyed this volunteer opportunity very much.
