Seminole County Watershed Management and the SERV Program invite us to help plant shoreline vegetation to improve ecosystem function, habitat, and water quality at Buttonwood Pond! We will be helping to plant shoreline vegetation to improve ecosystem function, habitat, and water quality through the Seminole Education, Restoration & Volunteer Program (SERV). This events starts at 9AM. Please try to arrive 15 minutes early for parking and checking in. Everyone MUST register on eventbrite for this event: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/buttonwood-pond-restoration-tickets-408743782657 There is no age limit for the event. Restrooms are not available on site, but a nearby gas station at this particular location is close by. ATTIRE: Closed toe shoes are required (e.g. boots, water shoes, old sneakers that can get wet). Old clothes, work gloves, and sun protection are recommended. ADDITIONAL: Sun protection and bug protection may be desired PARKING: Park along the residential roads in the community. We will post a map of the area a couple days before the event. Please kindly avoid parking in front of anyone's driveway.
