“Creek Week” Trash Clean-Up from Pikes Peak Atheists and Pikes Peak Atheist Families

PPA has adopted a section of creek in central Colorado Springs. On our section, we do twice yearly trash clean-ups. We pick up trash and pet waste, with a concentration on the waterway since it can carry trash further downstream. The City of Colorado Springs and Fountain Creek Watershed provide the supplies like trash bags, gloves, and grabbers, and we supply the human power and get all of the trash gathered and to a dumpster.
