Darwin Day Fish Fry and Education Celebration

Please join the Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix for an in-person, mostly-outdoor event to inspire perpetual curiosity, scientific thinking, and the hunger for truth. Darwin Day Luncheon Fish Fry and Education Celebration Sunday February 13, 2022 11 am - 3 pm If you hunger for more than just the truth, come enjoy a delicious lunch and celebrate Charles Darwin’s birthday with a fish fry, grilled vegetables, primordial soup, and desserts. BYOB & the whole family! In addition to hands-on science experiments, food, games, and raffles, this year’s Darwin Day event at the Humanist Community Center in Mesa focuses on several community outreach efforts: + Educational supplies drive for local schools; + Portion of proceeds for neighborhood garden and soup kitchen; + Surprise grand opening and special award presentation! For the health of all attendees, we ask that only vaccinated guests join us, wear face coverings, and keep at a safe distance from others.
