Fidget Items for Alzheimer Patients

The Northwestern Chicagoland Humanist Crew made several fidget items for patients at The Springs of Vernon Hills Alzheimer's Special Care Center. Our members made two fidget pillows and two fidget blankets using a variety of materials and including many features. These fidget blankets and pillows help keep patients entertained, calm, and engaged. We included many different things such as zippers, buttons, pockets and beads. It was a great activity making these items and donating them to people they can help at the Springs Alzheimer's Special Care facility.
