Getting Ahead Foundation Meal

Susquehanna Valley Ethical Society GO Humanity Food Security Team will be making a pasta dinner to feed low-income individuals and families enrolled in The Getting Ahead Foundation Program. Getting Ahead is a community initiative offered at no cost to interested families who are ready to begin moving toward freedom from poverty. The meal is served at 5:15pm, so GO Humanity volunteers should arrive early enough before that time to have your item dropped off and ready to go or to be prepared. If someone just wants to donate an item and not go to the site, the GO Humanity team can arrange for drop-off or pick-up of the item(s). Volunteers are encouraged to share/stay for the meal. There are already drinks and paper products available.
