HAPI Alabang Book Drive Part 2

HAPI Alabang had previously conducted a book drive but at the Alabang Reading Room. This time, it was decided that the books would be taken to the areas that were usually not visited or easy to reach. By bringing various textbooks and novels closer to the community that lives along the railroad tracks, it was possible for both children and adults to choose whatever they needs for school or for recreation. It is too expensive for these families to buy books and there are no public libraries for them to visit when they need more resources. Any chance to provide the community with learning materials is a chance to motivate to study and read more. Approximately 80 individuals were able to get 350 books. The children were also given ice pops to help relieve the discomfort of the extreme heat.
