HAPI Alabang Year-End Celebration 2022

The HAPI Alabang usually conducts year-end activities or parties. This year, HAPI Jr. steered away from the usual parties and focused more on the classroom-type schedule and event planning. The children who registered for the HAPI Reading Room were given holiday cards to write personal notes to those they loved. This was an important activity because it aimed to help the children focus more on written communication rather than digital communication. It also made them focus more attention on what they wanted to say to the recipient of the cards rather than sending out templates found online. The 100 children were divided into 6 groups and given a schedule to follow. This was to provide more structure and get them used to following class schedules as we enter 2023. HAPI wanted to continue the tradition of having year-end food and games for the children, but with more focus on activities that will benefit the children and teach them something in the process.
