Planting in the HAPI - Bulacan Community Garden
took place on Sept.15, 2021 at HAPI Headquarters in Malolos, Bulacan.
The members and volunteers planted assorted vegetables such as eggplant, okra, chilies, bitter gourd (ampalaya), papaya, ginger, tomatoes, basil, lettuce, oyster mushrooms, parsley, 100 fruiting bag of oyster mushroom and bottle gourd (upo).
The garden aims to provide a continuous and sustainable source of vegetables for the members and those who are still affected by Covid-19.
When gardeners garden, it's not just plants that grow but the gardeners themselves. - Ken Druse
