HAPI Delarama Faces Rainy Days with Smiles – July 16, 2023

The start of the rainy season in the Philippines has begun! Although several activities were planned for the children of HAPI Delarama in Paranaque City, the downpour created a nearly impossible situation due to the rise of water levels in the area. This did not stop HAPI CFO Mutya Valenzuela and her team from meeting with Delarama Lead Convenor Ann Rozz Cabudsan and Treasurer Terresa G. Requillas in order to deliver food, vitamins, and rice. Prior to the meet-up, Ms. Valenzuela cooked tuna sisig and made rice bowl meals. The tuna and rice for these meals were provided by HAPI's generous donor, Aneem At-Shiyaam Ysmael. 30 meals were prepared. The officers were also given 27 packs of vitamins for the kids which were provided by GO Humanity. As the rainy season begins, it is vital that the children strengthen their immune systems. They were also given 30 kilos of rice provided by GO Humanity's food security program. We are grateful for our donor and for the help of GO Humanity in making this possible.
