HAPI Halloween 2022 – Alabang

This event was sponsored by a private donor who has appreciated the feeding programs and activities planned for the children of HAPI – Alabang. Halloween is not commonly celebrated in the Philippines the way it is in other countries, so this event also gives the children the chance to get creative with their costumes. For those who are not familiar or used to dressing up and celebrating Halloween, props and costume pieces were provided so they could transform into their favorite characters. This gave the children a chance to have fun and experience how Halloween is celebrated by so many other children in the world. Approximately 70 children joined in the fun and were served wheat vermicelli noodles with hardboiled egg for breakfast and they received Halloween loot bags. They posed at a photo booth using the props that were provided. Approximately 30 adults who helped assist with the children were also served breakfast. We encourage the parents to join in the fun or at least be there to see how their children react to the activity.
