HAPI JR. – SPRINGTIME IN BULACAN

This event was the first project for the children of HAPI - Bulacan. Due to the strict pandemic guidelines regarding the exposure of children. HAPI JR.’s first project in this area required the cooperation and coordination of the HAPI – Bulacan mothers’ group. The children were provided a variety of fresh vegetables that they were supposed to help clean, prepare, and cook with their guardians. They were also given potting soil, a small pot, and three types of vegetable seeds for them to cultivate at home. The parents sent in their photos and feedback as documentation of the children actively participating and following instructions. The goal was to instill a sense of discipline and responsibility in the children and encourage them to eat healthier food, as well as growing their own vegetables to lessen the daily costs of food.
