WHERE: Purok 7C Ilaya, Alabang, Muntinlupa City HAPI Reading Room
The HAPI Alabang team, with the guidance of HAPI Jr, conducted a third session at HAPI
Reading Room in Alabang. 15 children between the ages of 10 and 15 years old, all residents of
the area, came to play board games, read books and discuss what they want to learn while
registered for the Reading Room. They then drew pictures of whatever they felt best showcased
their creativity. Their lessons will be rooted in humanist values and secular learning. Their
parents have consented to this and are aware of what the future lessons will be based on. After
their session, a short meeting was held for the Youth Volunteers who will be assisting in future
lessons and sessions.
