HAPI to Be Back in School (Brigada Eskwela)

As school ease back towards face-to-face classes, HAPI was able to provide school supplies to approximately 250 children from its various chapters. Thanks to our generous donor, children from HAPI- Alabang, HAPI Delarama, HAPI Cavite, and HAPI Cagayan De Oro were given notebooks, intermediate writing pad and pens and pencils and crayons. The kids from HAPI-Bulacan also received additional necessities like toothbrushes and toothpaste. Thanks to our kind contributors, these implements made the kids’ lives easier by reducing the financial strain of purchasing pricey educational supplies and enhanced the children’s educational opportunities too! Of course, they were also all encourage to do their best as this will be their first time to be studying in school since the pandemic started. “Education is one of the most important aspects of our existence,” said Johnny Denden, Lead Convenor of HAPI-CDO. “[It] is the key to teaching us how the world works, understanding it, and accepting differences with humility.
