On January 29, 2023, HAPI National provided a hearty and healthy meal for the Agta tribe, also known as Dumagat Remontados, based in
Sitio Kambubuyugan, Brgy. Kalawakan DRT, Bulacan.
Approximately 65 attended and were served chicken sopas (chicken macaroni soup), bread, and juice. This is event was made possible thanks to GO Humanity's food security program.
A note about the Agta:
'Since pre-history, the Agta in the provinces of Rizal, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Quezon, Aurora, Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, Cagayan, Abra, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur have called themselves “Agta,” which means “human” in their native language (Ancestral Domain 2014, 3; Bennagen 1977, 35).'
