We hold Hygiene Kit Packaging Events on the first Saturday of every month. They occur in a private home.
We had scheduled Saturday, September 3 for the event. But we were contacted by a student from Gallaudet University who wanted to help. The only time/date he could help was August 27 from 10:00 until 11:30 AM. We were happy to have his help, and he completed about 25% of 100 kits.
The main Packaging Event was held on September 3 as originally scheduled. Two volunteers helped us package the balance of the 100 kit contents. They were not atheists. They volunteered that they were agnostics/humanists, and they wanted to help people experiencing homelessness. We were happy to have their help.
The Packaging Event was in Germantown MD
The Hygiene Kits included:
socks,
bandaids,
toilet paper,
towelettes,
feminine hygiene products,
hand cream,
dental floss,
nonperishable food items,
and more.
Due to COVID we packaged masks for our clients and liberal hand sanitizer.
