Little Help Shelf (Construction and Planning)

We've also been approved to build a Little Help Shelf! Help Shelves are like the small community libraries you see, except they will have canned food, clothing, and toiletries for the community members. Thanks to a generous grant from the Foundation Beyond Belief, we're building our shelf near Sabal Palms Elementary School, which is located in the most economically deprived area in the entire state. So far, we've had a planning meeting with school administrators and held two construction parties at board members' house in Cairo, GA, all to coincide with the Secular Week of Action. We hope to finish the building in the coming weeks and install it soon after!
