Each month we meet with our volunteers on the 3rd or 4th Sunday of the month, in downtown Austin.  We set up tables and set out our items and we also accept, sort and distribute donation items on site.  Each month our volunteers serve 150-200 people of the homeless community by giving them personal care items, underwear, books, bedding and warmth items.  We also help people connect with any resources they may need at the time.

This was our first giveaway back to full line of bins, hot meal and coffee served, along with our full spread of personal care items. It was so great to be back to our old setup! We really missed seeing our volunteers and getting to spend that little bit of time with our clients. We've added a hot food station to our original setup, which has been a really big hit with our clients.
