Outdoor Volunteering at Orlando’s Wadeview Park

Let's help out locally! The CFFC is helping the city of Orlando with their annual Earth Day volunteer effort at Wadeview Park. One of Orlando’s most popular neighborhood parks, Wadeview Park is located among pines, cypress and oak trees, making it perfect for picnics and family gatherings. The park offers five picnic pavilions, playground, parking lot, restroom and exercise trail. The City of Orlando provides all needed tools, supplies and knowledge on planting. They will educate and guide volunteers throughout the event. (Bring a picnic and enjoy the park!) The sign in/meeting spot will be visible from the parking lot. We will be mulching, planting and completing other tasks as needed. Wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work including closed-toe shoes and bring gardening/work gloves if you have them. Please arrive at 8:45 so we can check in and give you a shirt before we check in. Volunteer event - atheists, freethinkers, skeptics & Humanists - giving back to the community.
