The morning of September 2, 2023 was rainy and gloomy, but HAPI Bulacan headed out to Patubig, Pinagbakahan in Malolos City, Bulacan to set up a mobile soup kitchen. The team was able to serve 127 residents in the area, delivering homemade chicken noodle soup and bread.
As the country braces itself for the numerous typhoons that are about to hit, it is important to remember that many will be unable to go out to buy their basic needs due to flooding and heavy rains. For many, it will also be difficult to cook due to their kitchens being outside or affected by the weather.
