Supporting Pregnant Women in Pinagbakahan 2023

On the morning of August 23, 2023, the pregnant women of Brgy. Pinagbakahan, Malolos City of Bulacan attended a short class about what to expect during the pregnancy, what healthy foods and vitamins they should take, what to prepare before giving birth, and what to do after giving birth. This was held at the Brgy. Pinagbakahan Health Center. The pregnant women also learned about the importance of breastfeeding their newborn child for up to 2 years old. They were taught how to preserve their breast milk and how long they can keep it in the freezer. Thank you to NDP DOH NURSE Josephine Razona Santiago and RHM MIDWIFE Ma. Sylvinia Valerio. A total of 50 attendees, volunteers and staff were served arroz caldo with quail eggs and bread after the class.
