The September Project

The September Project was a month-long campaign to mainly spread awareness about PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). September was also the month to spread awareness for World Sexual Day and World Suicide Prevention Day, are both issues that are related to PCOS as well. Many men and women do not know what this condition is, what the effects of PCOS are, and how the condition affects women daily. Many women in the Philippines do not have access to health professionals who can provide them with more information and provide them with the complete medical advice they may need to better handle their condition. This campaign was online and shared on several social media platforms to reach women, and all interested parties, across the country. This campaign included testimonials from women living with PCOS, a webinar by a doctor specializing in the topic, and an art series to share more stories of PCOS warriors. The goal of this event was to shed light on the condition that many live with but many do not yet fully understand.
