Volunteerism: Introduction to volunteering (HAPI Bulacan Reading Room session)

The children of HAPI Bulacan had their first official lesson about Volunteerism in the Community on May 28, 2023. This discussion was led by HAPI CFO Mutya Valenzuela and aimed to teach the children what volunteerism is, why it is important, and where they can volunteer. Another point discussed was the qualifications and skills of an efficient volunteer and leader. After the discussion, the children had their first opportunity to put what they learned into action. They packed 40 bags of groceries for the fire victims of Brgy. South Triangle in Quezon City. They made an assembly line and worked together to pack the bags nicely.
