The meeting today had as its theme: The Housewife. Many women in Haiti think when they marry their life boils down to the work of the house. We must always ensure that life as a couple is a long passion based on friendship, sincerity, respect and the search for physical attraction. This is why we ask women to practice sport which is a very great advantage to maintain self-confidence and attract the love of one's partner. Basically, that's what we were discussing.

What impact can sport have on our future? One of the participants replied as follows: Sport can protect a young girl against prostitution and against other forms of bad practices. Sport contributes a lot to creativity and collective positivism.

In Haiti, women play an extremely important role in society. They represent an essential tool in the Haitian economy. Most of these women are "MadanSara", which means that they do informal trade by risking their lives on the back of trucks that transport goods all over the country. Many are raising fatherless children, paying for schooling, providing food. Many of them create a small business at home to ensure the survival of children. Housewives are "The potomitan" of Haitian society.

Today, we have met a 2 Haitian single mothers. We tried to learn why they have so many children without father. They explained the situation they are facing everyday in life. The first child was born and the father gives up and never come back to take care of the child. The mother who is not working and she is vulnerable have a new relationship with an other man to get some foods or a little money to take care of her child, she becomes pregnant again and the second father doesn't take care of this second and no justice to force to take care of their child. It's a very complicated phenomenon Haitian mother faces everyday here in Haiti.

Today, we decided to meet some women in the fight against sexual violence. There are still many who are afraid to speak, others do not want to appear in front of the camera because they feel ashamed. But there are those who decided to speak, so we met some of them and explained that they have been raped several times in their lives. We have a lady who has several children without a father, she explains that men are always violating her, she feels she can't do it anymore. So, I advised her to complain and go to the hospital. Sexual violence is something that repeats a lot in Haiti because we have a weak justice system and the state does not value its children. We want to open women's eyes to complain and we have given them some advice to take to avoid vagrants from sexually assaulting them.
