Thousands of Meals Packed at the Women of Color Beyond Belief Conference!
By GO HumanityWe partnered with Black Nonbelievers earlier this month for a big food packing event at the Women of Color Beyond Belief Conference. 40 volunteers packed 6,048 shelf-stable, nutrient-dense meals for the Greater Chicago Food Depository food bank!
A huge thanks to donors who pitched in $2,669 to make the event happen!
Bulk ingredients were purchased from The Outreach Program.
This is our second time co-organizing this service event. In 2019, we joined with Black Nonbelievers to pack over 11,000 meals in one day.
