Upcoming Beyond Belief Network events

Upstate Atheists are cleaning clothes and roads in March. On March 9, they will be collecting laundry to wash from homeless people in Greenville, SC, washing the laundry and returning it the same day. They have also adopted a roadway in Spartanburg, SC, that they will be cleaning on March 22. Their adoption of the stretch of highway generated a little controversy at first. Any secularist, humanist, or agnostic local to the area is welcome to help them out in March. Details can be found on their Meetup page. They are also having a youth event on February 28 at Pump It Up.

If you’re in Austin this weekend, help Austin Atheists Helping the Homeless give away supplies to the homeless: Join them for their next giveaway on Sunday, February 23. They will meet in the 8th Street parking lot under I-35 in the northwest corner of the lot (closest to the APD headquarters). The giveaway starts promptly at 9:00 am. You’ll want to be there on time because they’re usually done in less than an hour.
