Vidnyanvahini uses FBB support for ongoing science education projects in India

First-quarter 2012 education beneficiary Vidnyanvahini gave us this report about how they are using the funds contributed by members of Foundation Beyond Belief. Members donated $7,460 to Vidnyanvahini last quarter.

Thank you so much for the generous donations from members of FBB.  It is indeed gratifying to know the work of Vidnyanvahini is so well appreciated.

This donation from FBB will help us partially fund many ongoing and new activities, including purchase of some equipment, such as an oscilloscope, a monitor, a laptop, etc.; making video films on topics such as physics, chemistry, and removal of superstitious beliefs among rural people; additional expenses incurred in making outstation visits, which are done once a month or about eight times in a year; conducting teacher workshops in remote places (two have been fixed so far, and at least two more will be planned later during the year); and publication of science literature to be disseminated among students and teachers. 

We thank FBB again for selecting Vidnyanvahini for an encore after the last quarter of 2010.
