Hope from Harper: Fundraiser to Fight Childhood Cancer

Neil and Harper WehnemanEarly this year, SSA Development Director Neil Wehneman said goodbye to his niece Harper. Harper was nine years old.

Cancer is tragic, but Harper’s family has chosen joy. Joy is a world filled with friends and happy memories. Joy is a world where those in need find comfort. Joy is a world with a cure for cancer.

To honor her memory and provide others with Hope From Harper, her family is raising money for Gilda’s Club (a refuge for cancer patients and their families) and St. Baldrick’s Foundation (a leading funder of pediatric cancer research). Foundation Beyond Belief has vetted these charities, their operations align with our principles, and we are proud to advance their important work.

Neil Wehneman is personally matching the first $1,000 in donations, doubling your gift’s impact. On Wednesday, February 18th, Foundation Beyond Belief will send your generous gifts to Gilda’s Club and St. Baldrick’s as a grant from the secular community.

Choose joy. Give generously. End cancer.
