You don’t need God to be good . . . or generous

Over at the Richard Dawkins Foundation website, Richard Dawkins discusses the charitable generosity of nonbelievers in general, and specifically our efforts to raise a million dollars for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through our Light the Night team:
“I am proud to say that the US branch of the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science (RDFRS) is an official supporter of the project, and I am also delighted to learn that FBB has decided that their 2012 effort will be dedicated to the memory of my friend Christopher Hitchens. Details of the project can be found here. I encourage all non-believers to go to this site and donate, or better yet, join the team as a fundraiser to multiply the power of our efforts.”
