There is scores of activities going on in regard to the food security project initiatives and we have been harvesting tomatoes, garden eggs and dodo at different locations. We have been expanding on our gardens at the Rukoki to plant more garden eggs, eggplants and okra. Our school plantations majorly full with corn being planted on a large scale. Some minor patches of corn fields also do exist at the Rukoki campus, Bizoha plantations in rutoke. We had planted an expanse land full of Bamiya or okra as it is known in foreign language,am happy the crops are doing well and we do expect a bumper harvest soon. We have been adding more fruit trees of mangoes, oranges, jackfruits to mention but afew. Our group participated in the secular week events and our team provide fruit juices to many children in several homes around our community. We are busy preparing more gardens for farming activities.we have expanded on our gardens at the outskirts of Nyamwamba. My teachers, staffs and some children participating in gardening works are so thankful for GO Humanity support and look forward for continuous support as we labor to put more effort in expanding on our gardens.
