May Service Project – Asylum Seekers Supplies Drive

HSGP members worked in collaboration with 100 Angels and All Hands AZ to demonstrate our shared commitment to making this world, here and now, a better place. All Hands AZ is a collective of organizers and volunteers who are supporting asylum seekers and migrants traveling through Arizona from Venezuela, Brazil, Cuba, and some African countries. Here's how you helped! You purchased small items from a list of what's needed and delivered them to HSGP Humanist Community Center on one of the drop off days. May 5 - 2pm to 6pm May 6 - 8am to 12pm May 7 - 11am to 3pm On May 8 from 9am to 12pm, you filled plastic bags with donated items so they were ready to give to asylum seekers. Our goal was to fill 100+ bags and you helped us complete 150! Thank you so much to all the volunteers and FBB for making this possible.
