WHERE: Progress Place, 8106 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring MD 20910.
We set up tables at 9:15 and started distribution at 9:30; we already had a line of many clients. We distributed socks, nonperishable food, and hygiene items. We also distributed water bottles purchased with Swag Dollars. When we arrived, some former clients recognized us and asked if they could help us set up our tables. Some clients were there to take breakfast at Sheppherd's Table and they slept elsewhere. Some had stayed at Progress Place shelter. We served about 75 clients.
